Festival of the Mind is a celebration of ideas, culture and collaboration between academics and professionals from Sheffield’s cultural, creative and digital industries.
For the exhibition 23i designed A series of 4 A2 Artworks inspired by the research of Dr Saida Caballero, Dr Emiliano Cancellieri, Dr Jenny Clark, Dr Rhoda Hawkins and Dr Matthew Malek from sheffield University. The artistic interpretations of scientific discoveries were based on four key themes: Generating Light, Harnessing Light, Computing with Light and Beyond Light.
The exhibition was held at Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery during September 2016 and the Artistic Journey Into the Physics of Light included works by 23i, Samantha Bryan and Sharon Mossbeck.
